BEDFORD -- Amy Lorraine Lamb, 71, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, Clarksville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Lorraine was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Plainview. She married her husband of 42 years, John Lamb Dec. 19, 1964. She taught English for 30 years. She taught in Texarkana and Seminole and Hurst-Euless-Bedford area for 22 years. Survivors: Husband, John Thomas Lamb; son, James Robert Briggs; sister, Elaine Jennings and husband, Sam; and two grandchildren.
