George Jameson

October 1, 1925 - December 31, 2007

Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, the Rev. Tom Howe officiating. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Lucas Sylvania Chapel. George was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Bronze Star. George was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill.Survivors: Wife, Martha of Haltom City; daughter, Becky Oxford and husband, Jere, of Watauga; son, Wallace Jameson and wife, Rose, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
