Lanora Holderness

February 2, 1924 - September 29, 2006

FORT WORTH -- Lanora Holderness, 82, a retired bookkeeper, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Tuesday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: beginning at noon, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Lanora was a longtime member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church and retired after 21 years with Riverside Rexall Drug. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Survivors: Sons, Pat Holderness and Brent Holderness, both of Oklahoma; daughter, Lisa Elmendorf of Fort Worth; sister, Tommie Revill of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Tara and Chad Rankin, Clesta, Kyla, Aron, Darla and Deanna Holderness; seven great-grandchildren.
