William Williams

November 6, 1921 - July 4, 2006

Bill, the son of William S. and Florence Ford Williams, was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Cristoval. He graduated from McCamey High School, attended Baylor University and received his degree from UTA. He was a veteran of World War II, in which he flew the P-38 and P-47 with the 49th Fighter group. Following the war, he re-entered the Air Force and served with the Strategic Air Command flying the B-47 and B-58. A command pilot, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Bill was an active member of Western Hills Baptist Church. ??? He was preceded in death by his parents. ??? Survivors: Wife, Eugenia Williams; sons, William A. Williams, Bruce A. Williams and Richard A. Williams; daughter, Barbara W. Mal?s; grandchildren, William Zackary Williams, Andrew Bardin Williams, Ramsay Williams, Evan Williams, Zane Williams and Billie Ren?e Mal?s; and sisters, Faye Williams and Charlotte McLaughlin.
