???FORT WORTH -- Beverly Bedford Burge, 86, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in the hospice unit of a local hospital. ??? Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at University Christian Church, 2720 S. University Drive. The Rev. Dr. Alan Lobaugh will officiate. Burial: Following private committal services for the family, Beverly will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jack, in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: She will lie in state Friday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper; her family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. ??? Honorary bearers for Mrs. Burge will be Lynn Floyd, Bobby Dunsworth, Justin Floyd, Jim Mosley, Chris Mosley, Brent Mosley, Rodney Dryden, Paul Burge, Dr. Gene Burge, Bob Reed, Dr. Charles A. Carlton, Dr. Tom Howerth, Dr. Robert Miley and Dr. Angel Negron. ??? A native of Mart, Beverly Grace Bedford was born Jan. 10, 1920, the daughter of William Warner and Bertha Hendrix Bedford. She was married to Jack Arden Burge, a marriage that spanned more than 66 years. Mr. Burge died in 2003. ??? Beverly was a longtime member of University Christian Church and its Moudy Sunday School Class. She was an avid golfer and a member of Colonial Country Club, where she was a past president of the Colonial Women's Golf Association. Her memberships also included Canwick Club, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and the Girls Service League. ??? In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonny Bedford Burge. ??? Survivors: Children, Beth Burge Floyd and her husband, Lynn, and William Warner "Bill" Burge; grandchildren, Bonny Floyd Dunsworth and her husband, Benny, and Jack Floyd; great-grandchildren, Bobby Dusnworth and Justin and David Floyd; sister, Brenda Bedford Mosley and her husband, Jim; several nieces and nephews, including Chris Mosley, Brent Mosley and Gaye Mosley Dryden and her husband, Rodney; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, including Reed and Brooke Dryden.
